As the English Language Learner (ELL) Family Coordinator and College Career Coach at NaviGo Prep, James plays a pivotal role in guiding students through their educational and career journeys, particularly by exposing them to new opportunities and experiences. His commitment to students is evident in his work, from organizing college and career tours to providing ongoing support and advice that helps students shape their futures.
A proud graduate of Kentucky State University, James earned a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts with a minor in Spanish, which has fostered his passion for language and cultural diversity. His educational background, combined with his extensive experience, enables him to connect deeply with students and families from various backgrounds, helping them navigate their academic paths with confidence.
James is also an active member of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Incorporated, having contributed to community outreach and support through the organization for the past four years. Beyond his role in education, he is a skilled event planner, working to establish initiatives that benefit the community and help grow the reach and impact of the organizations he supports.
