James Catchen

James Catchen is a 2010 graduate of the University of Kentucky, where he studied International Studies and Political Science. In 2014, he earned his Master’s in Public Administration from Northern Kentucky University. Presently, James is the Assistant Director of the School-Based Scholars (dual-enrollment) program at NKU. Once a student in the program, James now helps northern Kentucky high school students access dual-credit opportunities at NKU.

Outside of his job, James is an avid traveler and looks for opportunities to try new experiences or locations whenever he can. He looks to bring a similar mindset when working with students, hoping that with his help they can discover new opportunities and have life-changing experiences.
