What’s NaviGo All About?

NaviGo College and Career Prep Services was founded in 2011 by a team led by Kentucky’s 2010 Superintendent of the Year, Tim Hanner. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Keenly aware of the challenges that students and parents face when it comes to navigating college and career planning, the NaviGo Way is all about making that process more manageable.

Using student-specific assessment information and NaviGo’s proprietary curriculum, our coaches work closely with junior high and high school students and their families to make planning for the future a rewarding experience. Our unique system is designed to make strong students stronger and to help students with weaknesses identify those challenges in order to achieve better outcomes. The NaviGo team strives to make a positive difference in the lives of the students we work with so those students can take full advantage of the opportunities available to them.

Within just a few years, NaviGo has built upon our core coaching program to bring our model to schools, business partnerships, and more.

Why Us?

Because You Don’t Have to Plan for Life After High School Alone.

Why waste time pursuing a career you don’t love? Data shows only about six in 10 students entering college graduate within six years. This can be avoided by doing all of your homework before making such a huge investment. The thought is overwhelming at times, which is why we are here to help.

NaviGo aims to ease the burden by providing you and your parents with all you need, so you can make an informed decision about your future. We know it is a big decision. With personalized guidance and support, NaviGo helps you identify your interests, passions and talents and the ways you can incorporate them in your future. Empowering you to make smart decisions is what we’re all about! We are the team supporting you at every step.

At NaviGo, we are striving to be anti-racist in thought, deed, and action:

  • We stand against all policies, attitudes and behavior that are barriers to love for all people.
  • We humble ourselves when we acknowledge and correct our racism.
  • We value and accept our children, youth, families and staff as individuals. We celebrate our differences.
  • We embrace our ethical responsibility to advance equity and overcome racism.

The Bottom Line

Whether you are part of our one-to-one or small group coaching, in-school programs, or business partnerships, NaviGo promises that, guided by our coaches using the proprietary curriculum, students will have three realistic options for college and/or a career after high school based on career interests, academic preparation, and financial realities. Our work together is focused on one thing to achieve those plans: empowering you to succeed for life.

“The road to success is narrow. But for me, NaviGo has helped broaden my path and has helped me achieve my dreams!”
